Well hey there! Here’s a little about me!
You can check out my World Race blog at http://www.rebeccaschibler.theworldrace.org
My name is Rebecca, or, as everyone calls me, Becca Schibler. I went on the World Race in January 2015 on 3rd generation Q squad. We traveled to India, Nepal, South Africa, Swaziland, Mozambique, Lativa, Estonia, Malaysia, Thailand, Cambodia, and Vietnam. The World Race radically changed my life from just graduating college and thinking about a career to living my life for the Lord.
I went to college at Sonoma State University in Northern California and received a BFA in Theatre with a concentration in Technical Theatre and a minor in Biology. And as my studies show, I have a wide range of passions and interests, haha.
I love to sing, work in theatre, rock climb, go on adventures just about anywhere and anytime, live in community, play games, cook, and so much more. The Lord opened my eyes on my race to just how unique he made me and the passions he gave me, which lead me to attend CGA this year.
I’m starting with my first semester in January 2016 on the worship track! I’ve sang in choirs and loved music since I could talk and press play. I’m excited to dive more into what worship is in music and other forms and to bring His presence to people through worship.
