It’s springtime in Georgia!!  Actually experiencing 4 seasons in a place has been interesting.  From snow to thunderstorms to sunny days, it’s a lot different than California.

With springtime also come new life.  And to make new life, there are always sacrifices.  These past few weeks have been really hard in a lot of different ways. I’ve had more responsibility given to me at work, more things to get done for track classes, and harder times with relationships.  

It can be really hard to maintain relationships when you’re surrounded by so many amazing people. Adventures is a place filled with people who are strong men and women of God, people with a great sense of humor, and people filled with love.  It’s hard to find your ‘people’. And for someone with a huge fear of rejection and who has a hard time going truly deep, it hasn’t been easy for me.

I’m learning what it looks like to be intentional and choose into relationships that can be hard, not just taking the ones that come easy.  And the Lord is reminding me every step of the way to look to Him for love and acceptance first, from people second.

And when I truly fight for relationships hard, I see the fruit from them that makes it all worthwhile.  I am so thankful for the people that the Lord has put in my life for this season and to what I learn through them.
